Wine Box Swap

My swap partner was the Always Amazing Corinne!  I began creating her box with trepidation and nervousness hoping to live up to the high quality of work I've seen created by Corinne. I can only hope I succeeded and she liked her wine box.

I was very. Pleased to receive all the goodies in my box, so many in fact I felt I had really short changed my partner.  Please enjoy with me all the great gifts I received. Thank you so much Corinne, the possibilities are endless!

How about this AMAZING card!

Little Black Book

Happy Birthday Rio,
Daughter of the Fabulous Ms. Betty Queen of Digis.

This image created by Abigail  Larson is just beautiful.  As I began to color, the image of a girl in her closet surrounded by pairs of shoes or dresses looking for the perfect one to wear kept coming into my head.  Every girl needs a little black dress,so I thought for Sweet 16 Rio, she would need a Little Black Book.  Every girl has her favorite book.  The one that she can read over and over again and still love, but, it doesn't stop her from collecting others.  Have a great day Rio, always read, always wonder.

Thank you for stopping by, please head on over to Emily's blog, next on the list!

Creating Again

I have been away from my blog for a VERY long time.  I started a new demanding job and put my crafting on the back burner.  Well this same job has given me a new outlet for creating my craft projects.  I design and produce many projects for people at work, family and friends.  Some are great some are not, either way I would like to keep track and document my projects.  Please bear with me as I fuddle my way through this process.  I have also become a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant, because I love their stamps.  The quality, designs and value are all a motivation and inspiration to me. Join me on my journey through card making, scrapbooking and home decor projects.

Tyshona

My little sister graduated this year so my mom and I decided to take her and a friend on a cruise to Catalina, Ensenada, and San Diego. Ty and Ruthie were so amazed at all there was to do on this floating hotel, they had a great time. My mom and I have been on quite a few cruises so it was fun watching them have their first time. Go Patrick our favorite dancer in the cruise shows.

VSS fo California

I am a Family Readiness Volunteer for the state of California, for the Army National Guard. I was selected to go to Dearborn, Michigan in July as the volunteer support staff. There are representatives from all 50 states and 2 territories. I had a great time and met so many people and fostered tons of new friendships. So I wanted to share a few photos of us.

For My Husband

My husband retired recently after 36 years of service in The US Army. I started working on his album but got carried away working on the party so I only did a couple of layouts for his album. 36 years, there are TONS of pictures.
